KDE Desktop on Ubuntu Gutsy
I have installed the KDE desktop environment on Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy Gibbon by simply opening up my console and typing in the sudo aptitude install kde command. After available through Ctrl+Alt+Backspace and choosing KDE as login session.
Read more about it here: http://www.psychocats.net/ubuntu/kde and here http://www.kde.org/

Hi again, geekgirlxx. It will be interesting to see what you think of KDE as compared to GNOME. I use KDE exclusively myself (just my preference).
Sorry but sudo aptitude install kde-desktop not work for my Ubuntu 7.10 , i’m connect to the internet and the error is the following :
Couldn’t find any package whose name or description matched “kde-desktop”
Yes, I am sorry about that! It is ofc suppose to be “kde” without the “-desktop”.

Hey Symbolik. I didn’t get a chance to try KDE much since I jumped on Linux Mint! But it looks good.
